...with public and internal polling from various campaigns showing the fight for third place to be a fluid one between Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Perry, a robust organization can mean the difference between a ticket home and a ticket to New Hampshire.
There are 1,774 Republican caucus precincts around the state, 900 of which are combined and held at the same location.
As of Friday, the Texas governor had signed up 1,500 precinct leaders in Iowa, a source inside the Perry campaign told CNN.
The source requested anonymity because staffers are not authorized to reveal the information.
The Perry camp also has 470 out-of-state volunteers descending on Iowa this weekend (including Perry's own family, which flew in on Friday).
The source said that by caucus night, "we will easily have over 2,000 Perry volunteers" fanning out across the state knocking on doors and speaking for Perry at their voting sites.
That means roughly 95% of caucus locations will hear from a representative from the Perry campaign on Tuesday night, the source added...

It certainly is. Some of those volunteers are regular Marines for Rick, too. Hope CW is among them. That is one girl can who can clear some brush!
A 5th place finish in Iowa is robust? And then a last place finish in NH is robust? Wow. That is a new way to look at the word robust. Oh by the way, we will finish 3rd in South Carolina behind Santorum and Newt. Santorum will win, Newt will be about 10 points behind Santorum and then Perry will finish third with 8 percent of the SC vote and the rest will be lower than that. Santorum will win SC with 30 percent of the vote.
So Santorum is your new love now? LOL!
Your post is quite confusing?
What point were you trying to make?
Love is a fleeting thing...........
And what are you basing your 10 point Santorum victory in SC on?
Also dont see Romney in there. Are you predicting he will finish 4th or lower?
the fickle finger of infatuation strikes again...
Do you ever get confused on all the candidates you have supported? Santorum has to be your 3rd or 4th.
Too bad all your candidates have let you down.
Do you ever get confused on all the candidates you have supported?
Excuse me. I supported Palin first. And then when she did not run, I supported Cain. When he suspended his campaing, I went to Bachmann and now I am with Santorum. I would be thrilled if Bachmann won too. Either one of them I would not mind. I have not jumped from candidate to candidate that much.
Santorum has proven nothing against Romney with this little bump in contrary Iowa. If you can’t whip the Establishment,
and you can’t whip the Socialist, how is it that he whips the Marxist? Iowans are so screwy that Ron Paul nearly whips Romney The Socialist, leaving Iowa the punch line in every joke, coast to coast.
Given the daffy Iowa preferences, the higher you poll there the more embarrassing it is for that candidate. In fact, I think I will tag that for a day or two.
The Perry Posse was an awesome idea ! They’ll get the job done !
This just in from CNN:
Perry announces campaign stops in South Carolina the day after the caucuses. Aiken and North Augusta. No New Hampshire for him.

Rick Perry YEAH!!!
I love it! To hell with New Hampshire!
Smart. Why waste your resources? Of course; the NH media is going to cry and stamp their feet because they do NOT like being ignored...
Pulling for my Gov. James Richard Perry to come in 3rd or better in Iowa . . . Go Perry!!!
