To the folks from SOCAL who keep saying, “it’s nothing”: imagine a six inch snowstorm hitting LA. It’s not a big deal here, but the whining from the left coast would be so loud, it would keep the dogs barking all night.
Every region has their thing. We don’t do earthquakes in the Northeast. They scare us.
There was a deep 7.0 off the coast of Japan about 15 min ago.
You don't even need to do that.
They go into full-bore freakout mode over ... rain.
Hey AIT,
Happy New Year!
That rumble was 308 miles from Tokyo. Are you OK?
|
Yeah, no. I didn’t say it was nothing, just that I’m used to earthquakes. I do understand that even a 3.0 quake can be worrisome to those who aren’t accustomed to getting shaken, rattled, and rolled two or three times a year.
You got that right. It's so true that Disney even made a cartoon about it.
The problem is that the traffic averages 30 MPH, half the cars go 60, and the other half go 0.
Yes. Thanks for asking. Boy it was a really vociferous shake, but not up to March 11th 9.0 Magnitude standards we experienced. All clear.
It already has. The NoFracking Idiots jumped on it as soon as it happened!! Morons!
There was a 4.3 magnitude quake in Oklahoma about twelve hours before the Ohio one.

Saw that. Those are becoming so common, it’s barely news.
Good to hear from you and thank God you’re all right.
If you can't appreciate the pure beauty of the violin after hearing this, something's wrong with your ears.
Or you can get raw with these strings.
How about this gamechanger from America's Got Talent (which they SHOULD have won).
Either way, the violin is sweet yet LETHAL.
Do it!
rbd3! Haven’t run into you lately.
I waited all week for his show. He came up with the craziest stuff back then. He was ahead of his time.
And Ernie Anderson seemed like such a serious, staight-arrow guy. It must have been a blast to be able to let loose on his show.
Makes sense to me. My animals were really acting up a half prior to and after.
