Amid a verbal row with the United States over blocking the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil shipping route, Iran proclaimed on Friday that it will start testing long range missiles in the Persian Gulf.
"On Saturday morning the Iranian navy will test several of its long-range missiles in the Persian Gulf," navy deputy commander Admiral Mahmoud Moussavi told Fars news agency.

Salami also called the U.S. "an iceberg which is to be melted by the high degree of the Iranian revolution," and "a sparrow in the body of a dinosaur." Gotta love that Baghdad Bob-speak. BTW, what is the airspeed velocity of a sparrow in a dinosaur body?

It would be interesting if Israel shot it down.
Just saying.

AND “a sparrow in the body of a dinosaur.”
Is that a allegory for “Obama in the White House”?

Test all the missiles you want to Iran, just be careful they don’t hit anything.
THAT could be a big mistake.

Should there be a military confrontation between the US and iranian forces, would that be a key in getting “The One” re-elected??????

“high degree of the Iranian revolution,” /
Sounds a bit like a nuclear threat. High degree......
I’ve never seen a dinosaur turned to glass before. That would be something new. Little people using big words. They had better be very careful or they might be investing in glass parking lots with no cars to park in them.

And our military will just sit there and ignore the chance for target practice. Will our missile intercept work? Yeah, on paper. How about a real practice?

That is the proper response. Shoot it out of the sky and thank the Iranians for the target.

Real smart Iran... What is the thought there? "Where should I
test several long range missiles? I know, a crowded waterway full of commercial shipping, supertankers, and other Countries' naval forces!"
Because "tests" never go awry, everything will work exactly as planned. ;-/
Of course it is not really a "test" because that would be stupid. This is political/power posturing, maybe looking for an excuse to start something.
