Usual newspaper title would read:
Police killed Elvis.
Doggie ping.
Perhaps they need to be re-centered.
What's the problem? All that power and responsibility and no consequences.
Just like the Constitution says...
Do police officers carry “boomerang bullets” these days?
How does one shoot a *charging* dog in the back of the head?
Dogs today, people tomorrow.
That looks like a pitbull. If it is, I can’t blame the deputy.
So, I guess we are to assume that if some unarmed person came up to them and was "yapping" or perhpas cursing them out, these "Big Tough," (Supposedly) trained, PIGS (sorry, but while I respect most LEO's, I have NONE for those who shoot dogs) would do the same and shoot the individual?
Fer Christ sake, there were TWO of them and I also assume (as to most police) more than likely had mace/pepper spray and/or tasers?
WTF is up with these WUSS, GIRLY-GUY, JACK-BOOTED, Quick on the Trigger, THUGS, always resorting to (First) shooting dogs and never try to take any other evasive action--like maybe what most people do, call the dog with a friendly gesture and they respond (99% of the time) with a wagging of the tail and licking your hand--before opening up with guns blazing?
These BASTARDS ought to not only loose their jobs, but should be held (legally) accountable for damages and not be able to hide behind their "immunity!"
(translation)
Teen runaways’ guardian has been to this this house before, demanding the teen return. Since he has been ‘confrontational’ the family dog doesn’t like him and has growled at him. That dog scares the piss out of him, so he calls the cops. He tells them the dog is a mean pit bull who will bite them.
The dog comes out the door, as the cops are roughing up the homeowner, and is reasonably on the defense. Most dogs would bark.
The cops fire at the dog, wounding him, then shoot him in the back of the head to ensure the kill.
Problem solved for ‘guardian’. Guardian has ‘proved’ to homeowner that he better not let ‘runaway’ into his home. Guardians get no money for runways that run-a-way.
I used to live in East Cobb, Georgia until they taxed my family away from there. The land was passed down for generations and they kept upping the + acreage private land out of existence.
One night at 3 AM I got a call from the Cobb Police asking me if I owned such and such car, etc. I said yes, they told me they had a police car outside and were searching for a runaway in the area. They didn’t want me to shoot one of their officers. At least they did their homework. I sleep with a 1911 and extra mags - always.
Lesson here: Don’t open your door to cops, unless they have a search warrant. Talk through the door.
This ever happens at my house there will be video to back my story
Only the public pays - with taxes and lives for actions of incompetent cops. Why is that?
