ONLY ONE CANDIDATE IS RIGHT ON THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES
AnnCoulter.com ^ | December 28, 2011 | Ann Coulter

In the upcoming presidential election, two issues are more important than any others: repealing Obamacare and halting illegal immigration. If we fail at either one, the country will be changed permanently.

Taxes can be raised and lowered. Regulations can be removed (though they rarely are). Attorneys general and Cabinet members can be fired. Laws can be repealed. Even Supreme Court justices eventually die.

But capitulate on illegal immigration, and the entire country will have the electorate of California. There will be no turning back.

Similarly, if Obamacare isn't repealed in the next few years, it never will be.

I still like Cain. Bachman will get my vote in because he has now gone. I hate Romney. But Ms. Coulter here makes an interesting case.

Hey Ann!
Did you know that ObamaCare is directly modeled on RomneyCare? Let’s call ObamaCare more accurately as ObomneyCare! So how ‘conservative’ does that make your boy, Romney, you RINO lover!

I think the problem with her argument is, as Aristotle said, that the most important component of political speech is the character of the speaker.

I do not believe Romney believes a single conservative—or even common sense—word that comes out of his festering gob.

Ann may be annoying at times, but she is never stupid.

You have to go back to the time of Lincoln to find the last Republican President who has come straight from the House of Representatives. If they weren’t on our side, we’d be saying that Bachmann, Paul, and Gingrich lack the executive experience needed to be Potus.

Ann Coulter is probably previewing the rationalization we will hear after Romney gets the nomination. Cross that bridge when we come to it...

So Ann really thinks that Romney will repeal Obama(Romney)care?

That’s...er....interesting.

I trust Ann a lot more than Mitt. But she’s not on the ballot....

I have no respect for Ann Coulter any more. I won’t watch or listen to her RINO speak aka moderate lunacy.

When Mann Coulter heard that Willard was thinking of Chris Christie as his running mate, her eyes bugged out in joy.

See?

See Santorum’s record on illegal immigration: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Santorum Where does Ann Coulter get off giving him a D-minus? She claims since he was against E-Verify, he is soft on illegal immigration? Come again? Rejecting more big-government solutions equals soft on illegal immigration? Ann is drinking the Kool Aid.

Romney is going to repeal National Romneycare?

LOL

That’s a good one, Ann!

Ann wants us to trust a candidate who doesn’t have the guts to call Obama a socialist. What’s her hidden agenda? Gay rights?

I don’t hate Romney, but to say he’s the only candidate who is right on those two issues, is preposterous if not an ouytright lie.

Can Coulter tell me which candidate doesn’t support the repeal of Obamacare?

I’ll say this, Romney worries me that he is a wimp, but his supporters are nasty little SOB’s. Michael Medvev should get Secretary of State for the way he bushwacks Romney opponents every day.

Likewise, I like Cain, Bachmann and for that matter Palin (1st choice). I currently am supporting Santorum.

But Coulter is right in this analysis. I (very reluctantly) support Romney over Newt. Likewise Newt over Paul.

Coulter’s headline is grossly deceptive, because Bachmann (not Mitt) has the strongest position on immigration and has made repeal of 0bamacare a centerpiece of her platform from the beginning. Bachmann is the most conservative candidate in the race, but lots of FReepers love to make misogynistic sneers about how she “whines” and “acts like my bitchy ex-wife.” Do you want a combative fighter, or another RINO wimp?
