In Fairfax, where the suicide in January of a white high school football player who had been suspended brought an outcry for change,

One of the things to point out here is the increasing belief that the football player cited above was suspended (actually, I thought he was expelled) for a pretty minor first-time infraction in order to push the minority-to-Caucasian ratio in the "right" direction.

What people really need to see here aren't the raw numbers, but the nature of the infractions that are rating suspensions/expulsions as well - crosstabbed to racial/ethnic groups.

Its not smarts but work ethic. American born Asians are no more successful than American born whites after a generation or two, and Thomas Sowell is no less intelligent than anyone. Anyone! At face value of your statement, it comes across as “they’re black, therefore unruly”, which is a stereotype. If you are caring, you want to dig deeper and know why to prevent it. The racist part is the liberals who say, “They can’t live without us” and make blacks dependent on their programs. That causes the unruliness due to no black father in the house instilling leadership and boundaries of behavior.

Please, I’m asking, don’t succumb to the labels of, “they’re just unruly because they’re black”...

I actually agree with his comment. I do not see the point of suspending students. Excluding students. “Tough love” is actually “tough hate”.

In “To Sir With Love” the teacher stuck with the kids, that is what they need. Too often the teachers want the kids to sit down with their hands folded and play dead to make the “teacher’s” life a cake walk. Those teachers are there to work and they darn well better reach those students. That is the job; now do it.

most of the male black kids are a problem...and ruin it for all

and that most are not very bright

you get a standout here and there but he/she is beat down

I have worked with the parentless black kids at my children's schools...same thing...they wont for love and someone to make them feel love, security and boundries..like they count
