Paul Goldman, a Richmond lawyer who is a former Virginia Democratic party chairman, is helping represent a conservative group in challenging Newt Gingrich's disqualification from the Old Dominion ballot on March 6, Super Tuesday.
Bill Pascoe, executive vice president of Citizens for the Republic, said: We are teaming up with former Virginia Democratic Party Chairman Paul Goldman to make sure the voters of the Commonwealth have a fair and transparent presidential primary process. ...

C’mon, make Mittens poop in his pants.
OMG, Newt is mixing it up with a former Virginia Democrat Party Chairman!!!
Go Newt!
“a former Virginia Democratic party chairman, is helping represent a conservative group in challenging Newt Gingrich’s disqualification”
__________
No one else thinks this is fishy???
The fishy smell is going all around. The GOP establishment tries to squish Newt, and the DemocRATs help him to make it a fight.
The only one who wins is Obama.
Yesterday on “This Weak”, Cokie Roberts said that Gingrich was a “bomb thrower”....
I see that as a good thing.

I do to. We need someone in Washington to shake things up. We do not need the status quo. GO NEWT!
Well, if he is a good lawyer, he’s a good lawyer. My concern, of course is Goldman’s motive.
We don’t know the score, but Gingrich has friends who are Democrats.
If the fellow is a cracker jack lawyer and works for a living (needs the money), it just may be that he really, really doesn’t like what has happened to his Democratic Party. There are many dissatisfied Democrats out there who intensely dislike communism and recognize that is BHO2.
I’m sure Goldman’s motives aren’t entirely selflessif anything it gives good PR for Democrats, showing that they’re willing to fight for fairness bla bla, even when it’s for Republicans. And it makes the GOP look like asshats since none of their leadership has lifted a finger yet to do anything about this.
I'll tell you what is fishy ~ it's when Virginians go to the PRIMARY and there's no one to vote for but a Nut and a Loser.
We can do better than that.
He likes to run in elections where there's no opposition.
No doubt this particular lawyer doesn't particularly like the Chicago Way and when he sees it being used in Virginia by Bolling and his running dog lackeys it's just gotta' be galling.
oy vey! Goldman?...don’t trust Webb or Warner but pray for the sake of the Virginia voters and my man Newt it works
Rush Limbaugh was represented by a high-profile liberal attorney named Roy Black when he was prosecuted down in Florida awhile back. As in that case, this is an example of taking on good legal counsel where you can find them.
Sounds like this group is a PAC that supports Newt, meaning they are not officially associated with Newt and CANNOT be in contact with him or his campaign.
This is the rules for all PACs and candidates and political parties. Also, the PAC can continue to raise money and run issue ads after a given candidate might not be viable any more.
Citizens for the Republic is not affiliated with Newt- or any candidate.
Shame they let Paul Goldman into this, plenty of better lawyers around.
Dem activist helping a global warming /amnesty hack, so that gop rules are changed retroactively??
Rino rescue operation..
Money?
I don’t claim to know why they hired this lawyer - but it could be he has a relationship with someone inside the PAC - or could be he has a good record with the judge who will be hearing the case. All kinds of factors could be in play.
Occam Razor= “the simplest explanation is usually the correct one”
In this case, the democrats want Newt to win the republican nomination.
