I was interested in the comments about how the criminals are the only ones with guns. The one British poster that commented that it was like the United States was interesting also, for the reason that I can’t remember when the rather large Indian community in my metro area ever got one of their number killed. Perhaps the knowledge that people can shoot you in the United States makes a difference, the cards are always on the table over here. It is hard to predict random violence anywhere in the world but if you know the worst might happen you might respond differently. I often can’t explain my thoughts properly so I am not sure if those last two sentences make any sense. There might be more to the story that the police have not revealed.
