Exactly. We get ‘promises’ of what they ‘will’ do. If they were serious, they would do it NOW and not just talk about it.
This should have already been nipped in the bud, instead we have more and more hearings filled with verbal flatulating. Nothing is being done thanks to the spineless jellyfish in Congress who apparently prefer airtime to performing their Constitutional duties.
That’s all fine and dandy. What I want to know is what laws are going to be repealed as punishment on the Government for F&F? The Hughes Amendment must go and so must sporting purpose. While we’re at it, repeal the NFA. We can do it the easy way or the hard way. If we have to do this through the courts, we’re taking it all... we won’t stop until ALL gun control is gone.
I want a commitment from the GOP on repealing these laws as punishment for F&F. If they can’t do it, why should I bother voting for them?
I never got why folks said Steele was so bad. All he did was take over a party many said was finished and proceeded to lead it wins in 2009 in NJ and VA, winning the MA seat in early 2010, then winning the most seats the GOP had won since the 30s along with 7 Senate seats, huge numbers Governorships and in state houses and he kept the tea party on board throughout 2010 and helped builed excitement and enthusiasm.
It’s early yet but I’d suggest the party will not do as well on any level in 2012 as it did in 2010.

Life is a Matter of Degrees ... the world, despite your opinion, is NOT binary, and I said “... most people”, NOT “... ALL people”, which left room for binary folks like you to not relate to Michael Steele in the same manner as the new guy and all RINOs.
Personally, I can relate, despise, approve, support, etc in varying degrees, on most but not all subjects as the situation suggests.
