New independent circulation numbers show a sharp decline in readership of Politico and other left-leaning news websites, an ominous trend for the suburban Virginia-based news outlet and its peers as Americans head into an election year.
Recently published and publicly available Web traffic data indicates that unique visitor traffic to politico.com in November 2011 was 15 percent lower than in the previous month, and 31 percent lower than in November 2010. The data, from Compete, Inc., also show an overall two-year decline.
Political websites gain and lose readers throughout election cycles, with presidential election years trending higher in unique Web traffic when compared to off-years and midterm elections. Web traffic analysts told The Daily Caller that politico.coms traffic patterns should be expected to fit that mold: With the Iowa caucuses fast approaching, unique traffic should increase.
But Politicos traffic losses appear to be part of a year-long trend on the political left. Media Matters

Considering that the folks at Politico and Media Matters are, for the lack of a better term, a**holes, it's not surprising that the majority of their potential audience chooses to absorb their daily propaganda feed from more palatable sources.
the Left thrives on lies....the exact opposite for the Right....they thrive on truth.
politico was exposed as a publication of deceit and untruth.
"both the honest man and the liar have a vested interest in the truth....one to propagated it....the other to subvert it".
They don’t print the truth at Politico. They make up people as anonymous sources and make up stuff they supposedly say.
No reason to waste a person’s time reading their pro Obama lies.
Teayeah, I won’t go to politico, I used to visit there to see what the opposition wrote (and they did dig at Democrats from time-to-time), but now I will NEVER visit them again! J.S.
