Maybe they could save money storing the steel in the 10,000 mobile homes FEMA bought for New Orleans and did not use.

Actually, I’m kind of surprised that they didn’t spend $44 million to store the $9 million dollars worth of steel.
That’s their usual MO.

Naw, the feds are busy equipping local law enforcement agencies with paramilitary equipment such as advanced Kevlar, military grade small arms, armored carriers, drones and so forth.
Gotta watch those mean evil American citizens. Wetbacks are harmless.
To: CharlesThe Hammer
There's no absurdity here: which politician's own the warehouse in which it's stored? Which ones have ties to the steel suppliers?
The Congress will waste $1.00 of public money to skim 1 cent.

I have a question regarding this border fence. Why is there NO Razor wire onto of the fence to prevent these people from climbing over it?
I just get so damn angry when I see video of these illegals climbing these fences with impunity.

As much as anyone, you can lay this at the feet of “Gringo Jorge” Bush. He did everything humanly possible not to build the fence.

The Mexican government doesn’t want their people hurt or mistreated. So, I guess that is the reason razor wire is non-existent at the top of the fence.
As for the resulting harm done to our own citizens, well, it sure seems our own members of Congress do not care. And yes, I get damned angry, too.

Seems that Mexican government cares more about their own citizens, than our cares about US citizens... just puts the corruption at home in perspective!

No - what I heard was that some areas are best fenced and others best policed by other means. I don’t know the area, but he does.

Sounds like they did buy some materials for the 700 miles of fencing required by the Secure Fence Act, but never got around to using it.
