Could "Fast and Furious" eventually become President Obama's Watergate? (CNN!)
CNN ^ | 12/21/2011 | Jack Cafferty

"President Obama's Watergate" is how some critics describe the growing controversy over the "Fast and Furious" gun walking program.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa wants Attorney General Eric Holder to appear before his committee early next year. Issa says the hearing will focus on what Justice Department officials should have done to stop the program.

“Nixon knew nothing of the Watergate break in”

I meant Nixon knew nothing of the break in before it occurred or when it occurred.

Everyone knew of the break in after it occurred. I didn't think I needed to explain twice that Nixon knew about the break in only after it occurred, just like everyone else. I don't think anyone thinks that Nixon never found out about the Watergate break in.

My point was simple, Nixon did not plan or direct the Watergate break in. He found out about it after the fact.

The Obama Administration planned and ordered the supplying of guns to Mexican drug gangs.

Watergate is a petty crime compared to F and F.

Nobody was murdered at the Watergate.

The F&F body count is now 300 and still growing.

But to communists, "the ends always justify the means." Dead civilians are just "collateral damage" in the war against the 2nd Amd.

The “H2O-Gate” break-in was a John Dean operation to retrieve the Dem’s black book of call girls. That book included Dean’s future wife and he desparately needed it retrieved.

If this does become Obama's Watergate, watch for Biden to get the axe first and Hillary to be sworn in.

That'll be the signal they are throwing Obama to the wolves. If not, Biden (unelectable Biden) will give Hillary the veep nod.

That will position her to be the saviour of the party and run for potus.

Only tying the State Department to this can prevent that. Keep digging, guys!

Might have had help?

That is what Liddy said. Since he was at ground zero in the entire event, I believe him.

Wow, should read things. Good advice you should practice it yourself. I said exactly what I wanted to say because I read your posts. You were nitpicking, now you are trying to divert attention from my original contention.

From the link you provided:

-------------------------

"the Oklahoma City bombing had aspects of being an FBI sting operation that went out of control. Holder had authorized the FBI to provide explosives to Nichols and McVeigh, then lost track of both the explosives and their targets. McVeigh went on to detonate some of the explosives outside the federal building, an act that was designed to help anti-terrorism legislation pass Congress. But an additional case of explosives was unaccounted for.

After the bombing, when the FBI learned the location of the explosives, Holder reportedly sent emails to FBI agents ordering them to recover the explosives before they could be found by some other branch of the government. FBI agents failed to spot the additional, unexploded explosives during an initial search of Nichols’s home and offered to spare him the death penalty if he would help them recover them.

The case of explosives was, however, recovered by another law enforcement agency and was later determined to have the incriminating fingerprints of two FBI agents, as well as fingerprints of McVeigh and Nichols.

Shortly after the bombing, Kenneth Trentadue, a government informant, was murdered in his prison cell. His family has been pursuing legal action against the federal government ever since."

------------------------

OMG..for all my old reading regarding OKC I didn't know that. But it makes sense.
