Our nation and our culture is dying, like so many others. We were blessed while it lasted. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

It was, wasn't it? Remember leaving your doors unlocked? Keys in the car, even in the city? When I was little I wandered all over my neighborhood and the only thing I had to fear was the occasional inhospitable dog.

We had prayer and the Pledge in class. And America was much different, and better, back then.

We were blessed while it lasted.
