And in an even more shocking disclosure, Newt’s mother asserts in the explosive documents that she was battered by her husband while pregnant with the future Speaker of the House.
Despite those horrific charges, insiders reveal that Newt forgave his dad and they became fast friends.
Now sources say the 68-year-old White House contender’s close relationship with his violent father is bound to ignite a new scandal because the veteran politician has been a major crusader against domestic violence – and even co-sponsored the Violence Against Women Act in 1994.
A political source told The ENQUIRER: “Newt is going to face some heavy questioning because while he’s been a major opponent of domestic violence, he secretly reconciled with his wife-beating father.”

While I’m not totally on board with any of the candidates, this sounds like Newt’s journey through generational stuff, sins of his own past and his efforts legislatively to help victims of abuse.
Sounds like a sanctification journey to me.
What do I know?
I understand. You must have been a “victim” of that law. It must have put a serious cramp on your world, where Women and Children are only allowed to be seen and not heard and it especially took away your “right” to administer “discipline” and punishment for them disobeying you.
But take comfort in knowing, that you can still freely beat little dogs to satisfy your fits of anger.
And what is in Obama’s history that we don’t know about? It is likely worse than what we do know. And then there is Hillary Clinton who is likely guilty of crimes which should have sent her to prison! Remember how the Clintons were in bed with Chinese organized crime! All of that is just overlooked with snickering about how the Clintons got away with associations with people involved in sex trafficking, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, espionage, murder and on and on and on! Actually invited some of them to a prayer breakfast with Mother Theresa. The democrats are sleazier than can be imagined.

True.... if Newt were a liberal Democrat. But this is no longer a fair or honest game they are playing in Washington. The quicker conservatives realize that, the better off we'll be.
