Seriously, why do people in “rich” cars have no manners?
Why do people in jacked up pick ups “crawl” over speed bumps?
Why do people in Vettes limit themselves to “30 mph”?
Why are there too many people loaded in a Gremlin?
It may be high, but the bounce is exaggerated up there.
Why do people in Vettes limit themselves to 30 mph?
Because they know the radar gun will be pointed at them first.
Why do people move to the left lane and slow down when they get a cell phone call?
Why is the passenger never on the cell phone when two in a car?
Those jacked up trucks, for the most part, have fairly stiff springs. They’d bounce even worse than an ordinary passenger car. There are some, mostly imitation desert racers, that can take bumps like that without slowing, but those are few and far between.
Why do seniors drive 46 mph every where. Urban or interstate...
Why do I have to punch the accelerator to th floor on my diesel to dim a tailgating fool with their high beams on with clouds of black smoke .....:o)
Lately, on my early morning drive to work, any kind of pickup, new or old, seems to be at least 5 mi/h under the speed limit. Used to be they would be flying and changing four lanes back and forth at a shot. Driving like Beamer pilots, essentially. (I own a pickup BTW, but don't use it for everyday driving.)
A speed bump at low speed is not enough to activate the rather stiff suspension of a lifted pickup... Take it a bit too fast and you'll be bouncing yer noggin off the rollbars. OTOH, take it at 35mph or more, and you won't hardly feel it.
Why do people with liberal bumper stickers block turn lanes?
