wants the government to step and help
Who doesn't?

In the ‘age of Obama’ it wouldn’t surprise me to see troops ‘protecting’ the streets(to be charged with crimes later for ‘protecting’ the streets)...oh and citizens can be arrested without warrant, held indefinitely for such crimes as ‘being belligerant’...
Only in the ‘age of Obama’.

The Black Caucus should go down there and address the situation.

My guess is the answer from the folks in that crowded courtyard when interviewed by the PO-lice was something on the order of, “I ain't seed nuthin”. “I ain't heard nuthin.”
Then when interviewed by the TV crew, “It's all whitey's fault.”

NOLA was a crap-hole before Katrina, & now it is a double crap-hole.
The French quarter, every morning, smells of stale beer, vomit, & bleach. Enjoy your breakfast! The rest of the city is just slowly rotting. Another big storm surge will finish it off.
Save your tourist dollars unless you just want to experience a drunken, violent slum.

That’s a great solution. What happens when the military calls in close air support to stop a mugging? Maybe we can use artillery to cut down on the shoplifting.
Besides being unconstitutional, it’s a very bad idea. The military is trained and equipped to deal with problems by blowing things up and killing people. It’s not really a good solution for domestic crime problems.

This posturing and national reporting begs many questions. Exactly, why does he not trust the Chocolate City Cops to deal with the problem? Who was he trying to impress? Would it be news if there were no agenda at CNN? Is this a News Story because this “lawmaker” is a whistle blower or because CNN wants Holder’s people in charge?

They allowed the projects to be reoccupied by the same kind of individuals who made them hazardous before Katrina. What do they expect?

Even if troops were sent it not take long before cries of brutality, profiling, and racism would be all over the MSM. The anarchist nut jobs would be down there protesting the troops and soldiers will be brought to courts-martial on trumped up charges. Let the people of New Orleans fix their own sewer.
