D.C. Police Sgt. Dale Sutherlands high-tech headquarters in a stylish Northeast rowhouse welcomed some of the citys most notorious gun-runners and drug dealers.
Sutherland made deals for revolvers, shotguns, ammunition, crack cocaine and heroin from black leather couches. His suppliers kept coming back, authorities say. Then, in June, one offered Sutherland hand grenades and a rocket launcher, and he had to act quickly.

Did Eric Holder visit? Bet he would love to give the rocket launcher to the Mexican cartals!

Just wondering - of the 160+ weapons seized, how many are F & F guns? HMMMMM? I bet we’ll never know.
Had those drugs and guns made it to our streets, the consequences would be devastating, D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier said Monday at a news conference.
Excuse me, but didn’t these items come from the streets? DC is a joke when it comes to gun laws. Basically assume that all crooks are armed and all law abiding citizens are unarmed and potential easy victims. This scenario plays out world wide. Didn’t we learn anything from Prohibition? Make it illegal and desireable and the market will find a way to supply it. The only way to control gun violence is to make sure that more honest people are armed and able to stand against criminals.
Doesn't look that way.
Make it illegal and desireable and the market will find a way to supply it.
Well, laws don't make guns or drugs more desirable - but history and current events certainly show that criminalizing it just turns the market over to criminals (while inflating the profit margins).
Eric Holder should be impeached. He is a slimeball, but I’m insulting slimeballs.
