I never said agree with him, I said show some respect and not count the days until he dies.

Hmm....I didn't see where the poster was disrespectful, but maybe I missed it. Alrighty.

“”As President, Mitt Romney will succeed in turning this country around,” he wrote. “He rescued a flailing Winter Olympics when it was mired in financial scandal. He was an exceptional Governor of Massachusetts, who managed to both balance the state’s budget and cut taxes while dealing with an overwhelmingly Democratic state legislature.” “

Selective reading of history, glossing over all details that show he is simply a RINO, establishment candidate, like ... Bob Dole!

It’s RINOLove!

Come on, Dole may have been a dolt running for POTUS, but the guy was a true American Patriot who gave more to America than 99.99% of anyone here.

“Bob Dole-—is that ole coot still alive?” That’s respectful?

"RINO Love"
(Willis Alan Ramsey)

RINO, RINO, candle light
Doin' the town and doin' it right in the evenin'
It's pretty pleasin'
RINO Willard, RINO Bob
Do the jitterbug at a RINO Land
And they shimmy, Willard's so skinny

And they whirl and they twirl and they tango

Singin' and jinglin' a jangle
Float like the heavens above
Looks like RINO Love

Nibblin' on bacon
Chewin' on cheese
Willard says to Bob
Honey, would you please be my Mrs
Bob says, yes, with his kisses
Now, he's ticklin' his fancy

Rubbin' his toes
Muzzle to muzzle
Now anything goes as they wriggle
Bob starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tango
Singin' and jinglin' a jangle
Floatin' like the heavens above
Looks like RINO love

I don’t agree with Bob Dole on this, but please show some respect to a man who lost a limb in the service for this country.

I agree. Even though an endorsement by Bob Dole is not going to persuade any conservative (and it shouldn't), I've never thought him to be less than honorable. Certainly not a disloyal backstabber like McCain.

Besides, he is doing us a favor. The more the liberal Pubbies endorse Romney, the bigger boost they give to Newt.

This will probably clinch it for Noot, unless McCain comes out for Noot.

“Newt must have the RINO establishment scared sh!tless for Bob Dole to come out this early and back Romney.”

Agree. The whole atonal orchestra is reaching a crescendo.
They don’t realize that a Romney candidate on top of Boehner’s suffocation of the the 2010 Tea Party Republicans will be a repeat of the Whig collapse. The GOP’s nomenklatura truly believe they are respected, desired and needed - 0/3.

It just made him inflexible.

Quite frankly, who gives a rat’s rear what an old rino has to say?

That is the sad (or sick) part. They actually believe what they say will make a difference>

“I am ready to Bolt this country club party and go Third Party—If Sarah, Trump or Paul goes 3rd Party—I will go with them.”

It is still too early. However, IF they cram Romney in as POTUS nominee, THIS will reflect the base support for the GOP:

Birds of a feather flock together. Dole lost the presidency and Romney lost the senate race to Ted Kennedy.

We all appreciate Dole’s service to our country but that doesn’t mean we agree with his endorsement of Romney. As a military man..Dole was a hero but as a republican he is a zero

Newt must have the RINO establishment scared sh!tless for Bob Dole to come out this early and back Romney. The RINOs are now going all out to try and stop Newt. Sorry RINOs you will not be telling me how to vote. GO NEWT!

Definitely a serious and coordinated attempt to try clamp down on Gingrich now. They went after Cain harder than they went after Bachmann or Perry, and now they are going after Gingrich even harder. Somebody is scared.

RINO of the past endorses RINO of present.

Helen Keller can see where RINO candidates will continue to lead us.

As I was reading this the phone rang. It was Newt (recorded of course). He must be getting a head start in Virginia

In 1996, Newton Gingrich campaign all over GA for Dole, who finished off Pat Buchanan’s upstart challenge to the establishment. Now Newt gets rewarded by Dole’s backing of Romney; the next thing you know Pat will endorse Newt, but not too likely.

It’s a sad thing that all these RINOs prevail, but remember who determines that: the hapless Republican primary voters, particularly in the early states.
