You’re right. Little love for Romney based on his past and perceived present.
I won’t support Romney in the primary but I’ll happily vote for him if he wins the nomination.
I don’t need to list Romney’s downside. His up-side is he’s a proven businessman. He understands the economy, how business works, what creates or destroys jobs, the financial markets, foreign trade and monetary policy. This does not mean he is a conservative but it does mean he will listen to our side, for one, and he will make better decisions compared to 0zero, for another.
