Slip is just latest of many in Texas governor's run for the Presidency
Rick Perry made another slip on Saturday when he pledged to cut a whopping $5 trillion from President Barack Obama's proposed budget - a number which is $1.3 million higher than Obama's total budget, CBS News reported.

Actually, to me, that’s not a slip. That’s a promise!
Perry probably is about right...
You know, if he actually could do that, *I’d* support him.
Of course, what he may have meant is that he’d cut $5 trillion over the course of a number of years, as budgetary cuts are often figured in Washington, but the article, for whatever reason, isn’t making that apparent.
Looks like the idiot writer and editor could use a math lesson. 1.3 million?
Like Santorum, Perry probably means over the course of his term or some other set period.
It’s highly unlikely he means in the first year.
All Republican candidates will be attacked for every word.
But no discussion of our first gay, Kenyan, illegal immigrant, Marxist, Muslim, traitorous, dunce in Chief.
I am pretty sure he was talking about over 10 years.
Hey, if he can figure out a way to cut $5 Trillion don’t stop him. The Dems have for years found ways to spend more than we take in. Why not try it the other way for once?
Big deal. Newt Gingrich wants to keep slamming people into houses they can’t afford on the taxpayerzs dime, he wants to continue ethanol subsidies and force an unconstitutional individual mandate to buy insurance on free people.
$5 trillion works for me.

1.5 million out of 5 trillion is a rounding error!
Man they want Perry’s hide bad!
Especially since he's done such a lousy job as chief executive of Texas, right?

Good grief, panties in a wad over “gaffes’ Is this all the press can do? Are they so far removed from thoughtful analysis that “gaffes’ are they only things they can comprehend?
No wonder the process is so flawed. So while these idiots focus on “gay marriage” or 30 second gaps in a response, Rome burns and Obama and Holder et al go on their merry ways.
What a pathetic hit piece.
I’m for that!
Rebates! Works for me.
