There was a time when losing your job was a temporary setback. These days, if you are a man of a certain age, that pink slip marks a devastating end to your employment history. The financial comfort you knew is gone and there's no bouncing back.
Not saying that's what happened here and certainly not trying to justify any form of workplace violence, nonetheless, there's a lot of people out there facing some hard futures.

Many are very tightly wound. Lots of stress, busted lives, total losses. Anger all time high...Lid pops off hard....
