RE “Tone it down”
Perhaps, as a hispanic himself, he hears the comments that that facet of the community i smaking - the things that they won’t say out loud to anyone else.
He wants Republicans to win elections, and to win elections, we do need a portion of the legal hispanic vote.
It IS a numbers game at the end of the day, and it is a reality of the country at this point in history - like it or not.
