The death of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, who was captured and killed by rebels in October, may have been a war crime, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court said on Thursday.
"I think the way in which Mr. Gaddafi was killed creates suspicions of ... war crimes," ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo told reporters.
"I think that's a very important issue," he said. "We are raising this concern to the national authorities and they are preparing a plan to have a comprehensive strategy to investigate all these crimes."

Oh I agree with you 100 percent about Gaddafi being dead, he should have been taken out decades ago, unfortunately he had a lucky night when our F-111s and A-6s came calling back in ‘86.
I just hope the joker who got the wild notion to explore Gaddafi’s personal Hershey Highway got properly tested later.
They must have had it put away the day we went :)

The account I read said it was done with a metal rod of some kind, not the guy’s junk. I hope he threw it away after, that’s not something you want to keep around to show the grandkids. ;d
