A new campaign by leading U.S. Jewish conservatives took aim at President Barack Obama's Israel policies on Thursday, amid attempts by Democratic officials to recuperate the incumbent's image in the American Jewish community.
The full page ad by Emergency Committee for Israel (ECI), and published in such leading newspapers such as the New York Times, the Miami Herald, and Variety, asked: "Why does the Obama administration treat Israel like a punching bag?"

That’s just U.S. Jewish conservatives. U.S. Jewish liberals, the majority of our Jews, continue to celebrate Obama for treating Israel like a punching bag.
I believe the discomfort the Jews are having with Obama will be reflected in the next Presidential election. Instead of getting the usual 4 out of 5 Jewish votes I will bet it drops down to 7 out of 10. -tom

What an insult to the usual treatment of punching bags. Punching bags are usually punched, not knifed.

The Jewish and black vote are natural constituents for the Republican Party, and it's frustrating as hell to watch them consistently vote overwhelmingly Dem.
