RE :”While I was obsessing over the trivial differences in style or the substantive conflicts of specific policy between the candidates, my wife was looking at the big picture — each of those Republican candidates represented a marked departure from the Obama regime. And dare I say she is much more reflective of the hundreds of millions of eligible voters who will head to the polls next year?

Of course they are representing themselves that way. This is a Republican primary. That doesn't mean that those differences will last through a general election or a actual administration. That is what some of us are trying to figure out: what will they really do once the primary fire is off their feet?

Once you put the wrong Republican in the POTUS office all the options are bad. It's not like we can just vote Democrat to fix it. And that person will get congressional Republicans to vote for things they never would if there was a Democrat POTUS.

Bingo!

We have an opportunity to have a Republican in the White House, a heavily (Tea Party) influenced majority Republican party in the House, and a slight majority of Republicans in the Senate.

This is a scenario that makes it quite possible to roll back three or more generations of implemented Leftist dogma.

So who should we put in? A RINO?????????????????????

Damn it, people are so blinded to what we simply must do right now. We cannot pass up an opportunity that may not present itself again for another fifty years.

Do we really believe what we spout here, or don’t we?

Are we going to fall in behind a Bachmann or a Newt or Mitt?

Frankly, it’s demoralizing to see so many folks talk a good game for upwards of a decade, then see them melt down and try to sell us on people who have sold us out.

Mittens? Hell no!

Newt? Aw man, he sells his wives out, he sells us out on global warming, now he wants to sell us out on our borders and illegal immigration.

What the hell do we come here and network for, if we’re going to vote against our values again? It’s very demoralizing folks.
