For the fifth straight survey, the GOP field has a new frontrunner in Iowa.
Yes, Fox News debate, 9:00pm EST, I think.
The last three elections I had to vote for “the lesser of the two evils”. This time, my choice is shaping up to be “none of the above”.
Let’s see who wins down here in SC in a few weeks
It’s been said many times before....
If not Newt... It will be Romney...
Screwing around in the search for perfection is going to damn us with Mitt McCain.
We must cut out the progressive cancer that infects the republican party. We need to kill it like chemo and radiation kills off cancer cells. That is why the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is so important. Vetting a candidate in the primary race is mandatory... and the more egregious the truth... the more it seems like an attack. The truth is the truth... it sets men free.

Brett Baier hosts the debate tonight.
Yep. it will be Romney. That's a fact.
You might want to re-read what I wrote. I definitely used the word "if". You might have heard of the word before.
And, to your comment about polling, it does not describe me for a well-defined poll with a limited number of outcomes. That describes most candidate preference polls.
Rasmussen, though, has adjusted his polls in the past. In the past, he has adjusted the way he re-evaluated party affinity.
Which raises a unique -- and better -- question in Iowa. How is he weighting these polls relative to liberal, moderate, and conservative republican caucus goers?
If he's not doing it at all in a state that clearly has a far higher percentage of Christian conservative voters, then his poll is politically naive.
It would be the same as sampling 800 democrats versus 200 republicans in a 1000 sample national poll.
In fact, that might just explain why Iowa polling is all over the map.
I think people have been looking into Newt’s recent positions. People change, but if you look at Newt’s recent positions (2007->) on amnesty, global warming, cap-and-trade, Obamacare’s individual mandate, ethanol subsidies etc etc he looks radical progressive. Certainly not a conservative.
Who cares if his ACU rating was high in the 1990’s. His rating since 2007 would be about 0%.
He is no different than Romney policy wice (religion, hair and style differ, though).
We have two actual conservatives running. Bachmann and Santorum. Of these, Bachmann is more conservative and in few polls is around 13% in Iowa. If she can do well in Iowa, she gets a serious look.
I will never ever vote for Newt or Romney. Newt’s recent positions would do well in democratic party, but I just can’t trust him based on his policies in amnesty, GW etc etc.
Never surrender, never retreat.

If Romney wins Iowa and NH but Newt or Perry wins SC then it is going to be a long slog to the nomination more than likely however if Romney sweeps all three it is pretty much game over. Even if Romney has a close 2nd he will be formidable since Nevada will likely go his way. Not sure how Florida is looking but Michigan would be his as well. This is also where money and organization start to pay off which Newt is sorely lacking. In any event if Romney wins Iowa he will be in a good position to win the nomination.
“(just as Coulter predicted to CPAC in February).”
um then why is she endorsing Romney? does she want Obama to win or something?
By the way, where is Herman Cain? Did he drop off the planet? We are concerned for his safety.
He was interviewed by Barbara Walters which ran last night. In the interview he announced if offered he would like to be head of the Department of Defense. He was on a Black Entertainment Interview a couple days ago also. He’s still out there talking.
Nobody, to my knowledge, has ever won SC without winning either IA or NH
Rasmussen also says, in a poll that 25% strongly favor Obama, so we have a baseline number for IDIOTS !!!!
