Beck clearly forgot the wide support for Herman Cain - before the media did their dirty job.

Does anyone remember if Beck had kind words for Herman? I know Newt and the TEA participants showed great respect and admiration for the Cain candidacy.

This is an blatant effort by GB to be controversial to drum up ratings. Same with Savage.

Factually, Newt was the Keynote Speaker at the first large Tea Party Event. I believe it was one on the East Coast.

There are so many fragments of the original and spontaneous Tea Party that even that is tainted with some differing stated aims, but Newt was the Keynote for the beginnings.

I used to love the intelligence of Glenn Beck ... now he is "cultish". and is beyond the pale on too many things for me.

I’m not sure I can speak for Beck, but he surely lost me on this one, and racial, not a chance.

I think this is being blown way out of proportion. Beck loves to speak in hyperbole. His comments about this are not serious; his point is that Gingrich is a progressive and that TP people who support Gingrich are just not examining Gingrich’s views properly.
