“Let Rush run with it”, I guess. This was the radio program taken to the TV with Greta playing the role of the caller, sans stating much in the way of her own opinion. The format was made for Rush. On one hand, I appreciate the lack of interruption and allowing the interview subject to make a point with a complete thought. Alternatively, well-crafted questions that challenge the subject to provide insights that would have been missed or glossed over are where real interview masters have value. It is a rare skill.

Greta had an easy night, all she had to do mainly was sit back and listen. Rush Limbaugh is probably the best extemporaneous conservative speaker ever. You just know that he didn't have to "study up" for the interview and if he ever tried using a teleprompter, he probably would screw up. I'd pay really big bucks to watch Rush and Obama debate. I believe he'd have Obama in tears real quick.

Having never to my recollection seen a presentation on television by a Conservative that explained the Mortgage Crisis and the Republican Party’s disdain for Conservatives in such detail, I can’t fault Susterin’s interview style here.

He touched on other issues as well.

IMO, the guests are the stars on these shows. Almost 100% of the time, the interviewer tries to come off as the real star. These people ask questions one after another, and hardly every allow for a full detailed response.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a guest get right to the meat of an issue, only to have the interviewer change subjects never to return to the issue at hand. Talk about frustrating.

I know Rush gets to talk every day. The thing is, here is a different medium that allows the public to see him touching on very important concepts.

I really appreciated the presentation.
