I don’t care if I get banned for this, but:

Newt - sleazy establishment hack who knows how to play the system
Mitt - sleazy establishment hack who does not know how to play the system

The only solid choice are Bachmann or Santorum. Both do not have any realistic chance.

The only logical choice left is either Paul or Perry. Paul is a nut with a good fiscal policy. Perry is a proven conservative who has lead Texas for the last decade. His only downside is his love for illegal immigration.

None are looking too good for an enthusiastic conservative turnout during the general. If I have to pick, I will pick Perry.

Why is it that the three know nothings, rush and mark and mark say that bachmann can win. You must think they are just dumb country cousins.

Perry is a proven conservative who has lead Texas for the last decade. His only downside is his love for illegal immigration.

I see him a little differently, as an enthusiastic seller of offices who has an elite list of clients for his "services".

The damage he did this year may have been witting and willing, viz., he may have signed on as the RNC/Establishment's Judas horse that Alan Keyes was telling us about last -- January, it turns out, I just went back and looked -- or it's entirely possible he was played by people high up in the GOP hierarchy who wanted a seeming-conservative to bust up the funding flows available to conservatives.

A professional fundraiser being interviewed on talk radio last summer pointed out that Establishment/Yacht Club candidates basically have unlimited funding available, and that sufficient funding from other sources is usually sufficient to fund only one Main Street insurgent campaign each cycle. So guess what the Yacht Clubbers do? Encourage dimwits to jump in and deplete the funds for challengers.

As soon as Rick Perry jumped in, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain immediately ran into money troubles, supporting the moneyman's comments.

Good post, except that there you bit down on the RNC's blackhearted lie, for which they will all burn in the personal Hell of their Congregational forefathers for ever and ever, for defrauding, lying to, and attempting to set the People against the People's own interests.

Remember how sincerely their concern trolls pleaded with us not to vote for Ronald Reagan, that he would most surely lose? Or start a thermonuclear conflagration if he won?

Blackhearted.

sagar, I would encourage you to go to some of the Perry threads that are posted daily.

Perry is far from a lover of illegal immigration. Just the opposite as he’s had to deal with it in his state. It’s a drain on the finances of the state, which makes it even more of a credit to Perry’s leadership that Texas is doing well in spite of it.

ABM, but if Perry has a shot and continues to look sober, I'd go with him over Newt.

But again, ABM. I plan to check the latest polls and vote ABM.

Paul is an anti-semitic, anti-defense, isolationist libertarian with no plan to implement his ideas...as he himself established in the Huckabee forum.

No way now that I know of the anti-semitic garbage that I’m supporting Paul.

No Paul and No Romney. Ever.

No, Perry's achilles heel is his shameless corny capitalism. He will talk a good game on the campaign trail and then go to DC and be just another corrupt Liberal GOP Establishment bot.
