If God will protect Israel they don’t need our help and if God doesn’t, we won’t be able to help - it will be 70 AD all over again. God’s will be done.
Wikipedia - “The Siege of Jerusalem in the year 70 AD was the decisive event of the First Jewish-Roman War. The Roman army, led by the future Emperor Titus, with Tiberius Julius Alexander as his second-in-command, besieged and conquered the city of Jerusalem, which had been occupied by its Jewish defenders in 66.
The siege ended with the sacking of the city and the destruction of its famous Second Temple. The destruction of both the first and second temples is still mourned annually as the Jewish fast Tisha B’Av. The Arch of Titus, celebrating the Roman sack of Jerusalem and the Temple, still stands in Rome.”

In sacred history God has used other kings, nations, emperors to protect or preserve Israel.
I will not be surprised if he does so again.

Like I said. He is nuts.
He is a strict libertarian. The ideal is interesting, till you realize that it is at heart a libertine philosphy.
He is doing this well not because of his ideas, but because of the lack of trust in the leading canidates right now.

Interesting that you do not address the questions I posed. You seem to have the same form of orthodoxy as the Democrat voters of America. Too bad, a mind is a terrible thing to keep closed. Be well, and may God continue to look upon our country, and bless it, even in our imperfect ways.

Thanks very much. I see that you went to a lot of trouble to research. Unfortunately, over the years, he has chisen to associate with Stormfront and recently has stated that Iran is not a threat. I think Paul is a foreign policy disaster.

Interesting that you do not address the questions I posed. I think it's interesting that a so-called conservative would default to a 'blame America first' stance.
Anyone taking such a position is on my automatic dismissal list, and isn't deserving of a civil response.

Before you all jump to conclusions, that’s standard denial/misdirection/strawman tactics.
I remain surprised that his supporters even try to deny the reality of what Ron Paul is, until I realize, they do so in order to conceal what they themselves are, so they can continue to operate here.
Ron Paul wrote those newsletters, did so with his own hand, and to continue to deny that he did so is obnoxious and offensive, and should be grounds for zotting.
Ron Paul’s a 9/11 Truther — again, why should his butt-boys continue to operate here and not be zotted?

Ron Pauls a 9/11 Truther again, why should his butt-boys continue to operate here and not be zotted? Contrary to urban legend, the boss has enormous patience with wayward Freepers. Especially those who have some tenure.
I've got a way itchier trigger finger than he does, but then again, he doesn't let me hold the zot gun.

I wish just ONE reporter or media person would ask him about his positions regarding Israel, Iran and the middle east. What a bunch of slackers. Even Hannity won’t so it.

"Just remember, the next "global cop" will most likely be wearing a PRC uniform," .................and as far I as I can tell, Ron Paul is OK with that.

Ron Paul: "I define foreign aid as taking money from poor people in rich countries and giving it to rich people in poor countries." That has a nice epigrammatic structure but it's false. Poor people in rich countries ARE NOT the source of foreign aid. That Paul would say something this ignorant shows why he is so loved by the OWS extremists. This is the kind of jingly but nonsensical comment that Barak Obama would say.
Poor people pay NO Federal taxes. Ron is sooo out of touch.

As far as the 'poor' paying no taxes, the real poor in the US are those working and making a smidge over what the upper eligibility limits for all kinds of federal and state freebies.
OTH generational recipients of welfare, anchor babies, illegal aliens, many brand new immigrants, low income immigrants, and their respective extended families in practice aren't poor. Although technically poor because of their lack of reportable income or extremely reportable low income, these people are eligible for so many freebies they actually live better that the 'working poor' and many of the middle class.

svcw to runninglips:If they (Israel) is attacked we should back them.......interesting you say that and are a Paul supporter.
SVC, had you bothered to read one of the links I posted you would have found: ...
Newsmax: What should our relationship be with Israel?
Ron Paul: We should be their friend and their trading partner. They are a democracy and we share many values with them. But we should not be their master. We should not dictate where their borders will be nor should we have veto power over their foreign policy. ...
Newsmax: What then, if anything, should we do for Israel?
Ron Paul: We should share intelligence for mutually agreed-upon goals. We should honor our pledge to refuse any arms sales that would undermine Israels qualitative military edge in the region.
But we should stop interfering with them. We should not announce bargaining positions even before she begins her negotiations. We should not dictate what she can and cannot do. We should stop trying to buy her allegiance. And Israel should stop sacrificing their sovereignty as an independent state to us or anybody else, no matter how well-intentioned

As to the Stormfront and David Duke, how many of us would deny that institutionalized racism and discrimination against christians, western civilization, and descendants of ethnic europeans has been legalized over the years through the use of political correctness (a marxist tool).
It has been in your face in Obama's and Clinton's administrations, but behind your back under Reagan, Bush I and Bush II. Slowly and steadily we have moved from rewarding hard work, and talent to rewarding sexual orientation, non-christian religion, atheism, non-european ethnicity, non-white color of your skin. Rewarding following has been replaced by PC based, crony based selective enforcement of the law.
The MSM would smear anyone against Political Correctness as racist, xenophobic, homophobic, by implication aligned with all the policies of the Stormfront, etc.
If you read Paul on Duke, Paul was against both forced segregation and forced integration.
As to foreign policy I'll use the example of Israel.
From the same
Interview:Newsmax: Some object to your policy of cutting foreign aid to Israel.
Ron Paul: I have objected to all foreign aid. I define foreign aid as taking money from poor people in rich countries and giving it to rich people in poor countries. We just cant keep doing this. We dont have the money anymore.
Stop and consider Americas policy:
We give $3 billion a year to Israel in loans; and we give $12 billion or more in assistance to Israels self-declared enemies. Some of these are countries that say they will drive Israel into the sea.
Add foreign aid to Israel's enemies to the fact that ultimately spent spent invaluable human treasure in the form of death & disability of our finest to set up Islamic Republics based on Sharia in Iraq and Afghanistan, then continuing necon foreign policy, aided and abetted the Moslem Brotherhood in Libya and Egypt - how does any of this help Israel?
I took the time to write because we are in DEEP trouble and it's disturbing to see ideas summarily dismissed because they are advocated by people that have been quite successfully smeared by the marxist MSM. Paul, Keyes, and Tancredo come to mind.

Huh? As Paul has said he has no problem with countries who are the sworn enemy of Israel, where every military advance and weapon is designed to wipe them from the face of the earth. Why? Paul says they don’t really mean it, it’s just talk.
Paul is delusional when it comes to foreign policy. His followers appear to be truthers, he himself blames the US for 9/11. He makes excuses for terrorist.
I don’t want a man who is not interested in defending the country as president.
Let’s cut to the chase. Paul is by his actions over the years, his votes, his writings, his supporters, his base and anti-Semitic. For me that is a bottom line issue, it’s a deal breaker.
