Liege killer Nordine Amrani murdered a cleaning lady in his rented flat before heading off on a bloodthirsty rampage in the centre of the Belgian city, it emerged today. The 32-year-old self-confessed ‘gun freak’ stood hurling grenades and spraying bullets onto crowds of Christmas shoppers and children from a platform in a busy city centre square.
He killed six people, including himself, and seriously injured 125 others yesterday lunchtime. It came shortly after he tried to rape a 45-year-old woman in his flat, where police have found an arsenal of weapons including a rocket launcher, AK47 and Kalashnikov.
