The Broncos having a kicker who can kick 59 yard field goals in the last second of a game is also quite the miracle.

The “Mile-High Messiah” — just one of the many nicknames he’s acquired since arriving here last year — has led the city’s flagging NFL franchise on an improbable 6-1 run this season.

He's 7 and 1, and the fever goes beyond Denver.

"mile-high messiah" -- The New York Times came up with that one the other day.

I have seen the MSM repeating the term over last couple of days. I think they are trying to push the meme as a way to mock and belittle Tebow hoping it catches on.

Like Palin, Tebow drives the secular progressives absolutely nuts. No doubt there are numerous dumpster-divers from the liberal press following him around trying to nail him as a hypocrite.

I suspect Tebow would be the last person to credit God with victories.

He'd probably instead advise we do our best & praise God in all we do, win or lose.

Maybe this is how the residents of Bethlehem felt.

This has to be the single dumbest analogy in the history of sports writing.

I coudln’t care less about the Broncos or the ridiculous NFL with all their pansifying the game, stupid fines, endless challenges, hideous local programming rules, etc.

BUT...this is very fun watching the American media make fools of themselves. Go Tebow! If those Broncs can take out NE this weekend it will really go into overdrive as other two games on schedule looking quite doable.

You know, I’d be surprised if they beat New England.

That said, NE is supposed to win. IF the Broncos win...the Tebow mania is going to go insane.

“I think it’s been huge. He’s the talk of the NFL,” said Mohammed Suleiman, who runs a new pro-Tebow message every Monday...

Who said Tebow only attracts Evangelical Christians ?

Tebow is a terrific guy, but this article is insane.

I, too, suspect that this “mile high Messiah” business is a dirty trick on the media’s part, trying to pretend that Tebow thinks he’s the Messiah, when he is actually a pretty humble guy who tries to give the credit where credit is due.

Hopefully it won’t work, either on Tebow or on his fans, because I’d hate to see what Tebow represents undermined by these idiots. I think most people instinctively understand the case, and hopefully that will prevail.

Just let him be late returning a library book and the media will erupt in 24/7 coverage of the scandal.

Regardless as to how Tebow plays going forward, the Bronco's owner has to have already more than recovered his full salary.

I wonder if the Jaguars owner is still feeling like a genius for having passed his chance to draft the hometown boy?

Get a kick out of all the Tebow Haters having to backtrack

ESPN has been quite nasty...and it is apparent that their hate of Tebow is not because of football ability...but because of his faith.

Tebow has rallied the whole team around to one goal...winning. Tebow does more than talk...he is the hardest working man in sports, period.

Tebow will lose a game here pretty soon and all the Atheists will breathe a sigh of relief. Tebow deserves and will get a good career.

I compare him to Steve Young. He needs some receivers that can catch a lefty with consistency.

If you want to get a true picture of the network coverage of Bronco games go to ‘the 506.com’ ... they’re drawing more viewer coverage than any team in the NFL ... excepting, of course, their opponent for any given game.
