The Broncos having a kicker who can kick 59 yard field goals in the last second of a game is also quite the miracle.

No, but his attitude permeates the entire team...I saw the same thing happen at Florida, even when Tebow was a freshman, and not even the starting QB.

The REAL trick is convincing the team that they can still win when they’re down by X points with Y seconds left. Tebow seems to have done that.

The Broncos having a kicker who can kick 59 yard field goals in the last second of a game is also quite the miracle. The kicker said to himself, if a below average QB, who all the experts said couldn't play in the NFL, who can't pass, can lead us on an 80 yard TD drive with seven complete passes in a row, then I can kick a 59 yard field goal.
And Tebow does this kind of thing almost every week.

The Mile-High Messiah just one of the many nicknames hes acquired since arriving here last year has led the citys flagging NFL franchise on an improbable 6-1 run this season. He's 7 and 1, and the fever goes beyond Denver.

"mile-high messiah" --
The New York Times came up with that one the other day.
I have seen the MSM repeating the term over last couple of days. I think they are trying to push the meme as a way to mock and belittle Tebow hoping it catches on.
Like Palin, Tebow drives the secular progressives absolutely nuts. No doubt there are numerous dumpster-divers from the liberal press following him around trying to nail him as a hypocrite.

Tebow plays defense? It's the same defense that started 1 and 4, and I won't even mention their record last season.
Denver also traded their best receiver the week Tebow became the starter.

I suspect Tebow would be the last person to credit God with victories.
He'd probably instead advise we do our best & praise God in all we do, win or lose.

No dummy, he does not play defense.
Last I checked the definition of a COMEBACK is your defense (i.e. Denver’s has allowed more points than the opposition’s). This is why the OTHER team has the lead going into the 4th quarter. It’s the offense that has to score to win. And Tebow DOES play that.
Check the 4th quarter pass ratings over the last 6 games before you comment

The Broncos having a kicker who can kick 59 yard field goals in the last second of a game is also quite the miracle.Especially when you consider earlier in the season the guy had the yips and missed some in the forties.
There's something about Tebow that brings out the best in the players.

He's 7 and 1, and the fever goes beyond Denver. Those East-coast reporters always seem to be one game behind.

Gator fans will never forget Tebow’s speech after the loss to Ole Miss, from then on, the Gators never looked back on the way to their second national title in three years.

Maybe this is how the residents of Bethlehem felt. This has to be the single dumbest analogy in the history of sports writing.
To: trumandogz
The last one he kicked looked like it would have gone through from 70.
