Obama: My Policy Achievements Are Some of the Best Ever (Who is he kidding?)
Townhall.com ^ | December 13, 2011 | Katie Pavlich

In an interview with CBS News over the weekend, President Obama revealed what we already knew: the guy thinks he is one of the greatest presidents to ever occupy the Oval Office. His comments came during the same interview with 60 Minutes when he said he "doesn't control the weather."

"I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president -- with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln," Obama told Steve Kroft, "just in terms of what we've gotten done in modern history."

He has a point, Obama has accomplished a lot in his first term to meet his goal of "fundamentally changing America," but his poll numbers show the majority of Americans don't like the policy accomplishments he has made over the past three years.

Not to mention, 47 percent of the uninsured don't think Obama's major policy accomplishment of socialized healthcare will help them and support for ObamaCare is at an all-time low.

If 0bama’s objective is to eliminate the USA as a leading world power, then he's absolutely correct. Best. president. ever.

I love me, I love me, I love me, I love me.

Looked in the mirror, it was love at first sight,

I proposed to myself just last night,

and I don’t need no one to run my life,

I love myself cause I can love me right.

I love me, I love me, I love me, I love me.

He’s right. The best, for him.

But we can’t expect much from him. If he colours within the lines, he expects us to give him a standing ovation.

Part of that poll is total horse$hit. Obama would not win the popular vote either. The fact that 3 solid dem states; PA, MI, and WI are going Republican shows how bad a job he has done.

Some one needs to tell these talking heads that when a candidate says he is going to “fundamentally transform” the country, you have to ask him “TRANSFORM FROM WHAT TO WHAT?”

I guess “best policies” depends on your objectives. Based on that, I’m sure he is more than satisfied.

As preposterous as The Magic Mombasa Marxist Mulatto's claims may appear to that shrinking number of Americans who can read, write, think, and vote ... perhaps all on the same day ... the strategy is brilliant.

The Mombasa MF's handlers have realized that it is best for the man to do absolutely nothing, then as events unfold as they always do, they can shape public reaction to them through adroit pressmanship, salesmenship, and plain old bullship.

E.G., We lost a drone over Iran? Not a problem. It is a great diplomatic victory showing off the wit and wisdom of our peace-loving POTUS!
Think Hockey.
The POTUS is the guy hanging around the nets waiting for a loose puck. He's has nothing much to do with the game, but is ready to pounce and take credit for anything. Team loses? No problem. They didn't get the puck to Obama. Team wins? Obama done it again!

Who cares if his approval rating is 30% 0r 60%? The fact that Barry's act works at all is a cynical tribute to the gullibility of the voters.

I have worked in mental wards where the people there have a better grasp of reality than BHO. The man is the most delusional person I have ever seen.

Well here's what the German people think of Obama’s foreign policy. These floats were part of the annual Carnival Parade in Germany watched by an estimated 3 million people in 3 German cities including Dusseldorf.

Is he talking about Andrew Johnson or LBJ? I’m evidently not quite up to speed on presidents. I didn’t realize either of them was a landmark, but I’m guessing the reference must be to Andrew Johnson?

That was LBJ he meant, whose notable accomplishment was the “Great Society” launch.

Great post!

OBAMA is either off his meds or needs to find something else that will work for him...and for us.

He is a first class ass.

Thank you. But honestly, how could anyone have known?? I thought LBJ was historically reviled. Do even Dems hold him in high esteem?

You don’t have to answer; I guess Obama did that for you. But again, it was my understanding that nobody liked LBJ, and w good reason.

Anyway, I appreciate the enlightenment. I didn’t think Andrew Johnson was anything to write home about, but LBJ seemed a toxic choice. The things you learn on FR....
