The State Department has released a statement that is favorable to the Keystone XL pipeline...

The Obama administration had already approved the Keystone pipeline and found (through environmental impact studies) that the risks were within acceptable limits. Obama is now playing politics.

The GOP needs to expose the lie that Obama is proffering - that he is fighting for jobs.

Despite its flaws, Keystone is far safer than alarmist environmentalists are claiming and oil from Canada is much better than oil from the ME.

BTW, Russia doesn't want this to go through...

If McConnell can somehow get an up or down vote in the Senate, Keystone being added to the payroll tax cut bill coming from the House will pass in the Senate.

And it appears that there are enough Dems along with Repubs in the Senate to even get it pass a 60 vote threshold.
