This little village is really in the middle of nowhere, it doesn’t even show up on the maps. Google “Rio Grande Village TX” to get an idea of where it is, it’s right across the river.

Boquillas has been a major illegal and drug smuggling crossing for years. And according to the park super, not an International Border, but just a river.
