“I had no idea that we in the tea party were supporting Gingrich...”

Me either. Newt’s a big government RINO. Oh, I’ll probably be forced to vote for him (as I bite my tongue in half) but I’ll never call him a ‘Conservative’.

Better than Myth for sure and a gazillion times better than the Muslim 0bama. Guess we’ll have to settle for Newt.

Guess we’ll have to settle for Newt.

Not a single primary vote has been cast. Just a tad premature.

I’m Tea Party....and I’m supporting him.

His answer last night to Diane Sawyer regarding the “Palestinians” settled it for me....

...along with his quip aimed at Romney...regarding Romney’s fear of stating that same truth due to... timidity!

Priceless!

I went back and reviewed his record. He’s far from a big government RINO. As a pro-life congressman he was a Reagan Coalition member and Reagan Revolution fighter. As Speaker he led his new Republican majority (the Republican Revolution) to pass the Contract with America, cut the deficit, cut the taxes, reform welfare, block Clinton’s agenda, balanced the budget four years running, and extended the Reagan economy through the nineties. Not a bad job for a RINO. As a historian and an appreciator of our Christian Founding and our founding principle that our unalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are a gift of God, he’s a natural fit for the TEA Party Rebellion.

You won't have to bite your tongue at all......and you know "never" is maybe just for today. Whatch and listen....and go back a few years and listen to Newt....HE's definately a Reaganite...and he's on the march to shake and break Washington....let's get behind him all the way! Trust your gut as you go along..as most have...moreso trust even Jim's gut on this one.

You've summed it up for me.

I seem to recall our not liking Clinton for his personal shenanigans, as integrity was so important at home as well as in office. Guess that goes over the side now when our choices are so few.

Newt is a big government type, and seems to think that's okay as long as HE is the one in charge of it, and what gets expanded.

He and I have completely different ideas on this. But, what choice have I got?

I'm starting to think I'll never see another election in which I am enthusiastic about one of the candidates. Maybe that's a good thing, but it doesn't feel good.

Newt’s a big government RINO.

Newt is not a RINO. The acronym means Republican In Name Only. Newt is a Reagan Republican. RINOs are people who do not reliably support the Republican Party but masquerade as Republicans for advantage (Bloomberg comes to mind).
