Nazi, socialist, communist, they all lead to the same end game, just a slightly different way to get there...

I think young D over there is the only born Nazi in the room. Young D is the spoiled only son of a doting mother. He has never been crossed in his life. He spends his time at the game of seeing what he can get away with. He is constantly arrested for speeding and his mother pays the fines. He has been ruthless toward two wives and his mother pays the alimony. His life is spent in sensation-seeking and theatricality. He is utterly inconsiderate of everybody. He is very good-looking, in a vacuous, cavalier way, and inordinately vain.

Except for the part about necessarily being "good-looking", and being a deadbeat dad and/or alimony cheat, every part of this is a virtual profile of today's Occupy Wall Street trustafarians.

The modern Socialist movement is basically the successor of the Nazi Party, just they smartened up and realized that they could achieve their goals through subversion and political trickery instead of armed conflict.

My, how times have changed at Harpers. Dorothy Thompson’s appraisal would likely be completely inverted by any author for Harpers, now. American patriotism is equated with Nazism. Jews who support Israel are not just equated with but called Nazis.

The sheer, mechanized scale of the horror had yet to be fully revealed in 1941, however. As negative as the connotation obviously was even then, it had not quite achieved the utter pariah taint that the term acquired postwar, when the sickening truth became undeniable. She was able to speculate, even semi-fictitiously, in widely circulated print at that time. To do so now is an overtly political statement pertaining to the internal US political climate. Then, it was matter of personal inclination, almost divorced from political leanings.

The left was forced to wall off any association with Nazism, whether that was via open advocacy of eugenics, national pride and patriotism, you name it, they ditched it or resorted to subterfuge, all due to the fear of being tainted by the obvious associations and affinities. Then came the inevitable, table-turning tarring of the right, the patriots, the businessmen, the religious, with the Nazi brush.

Projection. Things have sure changed. Guess who controls the reins of government now, though. It wouldn’t take much for many of them to “go Nazi.” It’s a dangerous time, beneath a thin veneer of normalcy that could be ruptured at any time, by further economic decline, terrorist attack or natural disaster.

Let's ask the real question - "What is not National Socialist within the democrat platform?"

Or "When did the democrats stop being National Socialists and move on to pure Communism?"

It could not have been at that time. The Wannsee conference took place in early 1942, and the extermination in full scale only happened after the "Endlösung" was decided upon there. The circle of people who knew all was not that large (by today's standards of mass media and Twitter) until everything was revealed in 1945. Even the NAZI regime didn't want this "public knowledge."

The extermination camps were run by SS officers, but most of the guards were Ukrainian or Baltic auxiliaries. Regular German soldiers were kept well away. (Wikipedia)

I believe the American socialists would not have hesitated to conduct a purge on this country had they not lacked the power of a state machinery to do it. In the aftermath of 911 and central control over health care, they now have the State machinery to do it.

In public re-education and entertainment, the socialists have created the soulless population and culture to go along with socialist ideology, too. They had to separate enough Americans from their identity, ethics and ideals and remake the population into dumbed down materialistic, moral and truth relativity bots.

We are living in interesting times.

Nazism/Maoism would erupt from the top down and it's machinery (domestic and international police and military organization, surveillance, prison infrastructure, and total power in the President's hands) and has to be in place for it to happen.

Riff raff protests or terrorism will only provide an excuse for the socialist elite's Federal coming out party.
