"The idea this president now, with Iran getting one of our predator drones in their possession, and he had opportunities -- he had two choices. Actually, he had three. He chose the worse. And those two opportunities he had was to either retrieve that drone or to destroy it. And he did the worst of the three. And he did absolutely nothing. And the Russians and the Chinese will have our highly technical equipment now. This president is the problem, not something Newt Gingrich said."

Lord willing.
The ACTUAL SecDef we have NOW thinks that India is America's ENEMY!
Leon Panetta Makes Foreign Policy Gaffe (Says INDIA is a THREAT to America, like China)
I don’t see how knowing that would make difference. I don’t expect the President to know a lot about every peice of equipment in the government inventory.
And another amnesty too! (Then again, Newt will do it as well)
Aww. Don't be so sensitive. I actually have met Rick and like him tremendously. I just couldn't support him before. But now with scary Newt in the lead, I am compelled to take a second look.
There is some truth in that, but India could be our greatest allie too.
India is complicated it is the largest democracy on the planet. It is not a Representative Republic.
We need to nurture India, they could be a great allie but we can’t just hand them the keys.
India is rife with communists.
John Kerry had supporters who were veterans, as did George McGovern, LBJ, FDR, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
I am sorry but your comment seemed like a potshot at Ricks oratory skills.
We all know that he wants aviation assets as that simply makes more sense fiscally than a fence.
So whats your point? Perrys vets suck? Vets suck? Perry sucks?
He deserves it. This is a game for big boys. Our guy won't get a do-over vs. Obama.
We all know that he wants aviation assets as that simply makes more sense fiscally than a fence.
Well there I completely disagree with you, and the facts bear it out. Just look at the stats for the Yuma vs. Tuscon sectors to see what a HUGE difference a border fence makes. But that is an issue for another day.
To be fair, your point is that you are a vet and you don’t support Perry. I am sorry if I was snarky.
I lived in the Tucson sector and patrolled it by air and foot.
It is wide open to this day, The Tohono “o’dham corridor is wide open and its a federal issue
The problem with the Tucson corridor is that the Tohono O’dham indian reservation runs from the border to Tucson.
It is a sovereign nation and we are not allowed to place law enforcement in there.
Its a wide open corridor from puerto penasco to tucson
I have patrolled it by air.
I would support Gov. Perry before Gov. Romney, Congressman Ron Paul, Gov. Huntsman or Mr. Obama, of course.
Yeah, that didn't work out too well for Kerry (he served in Viet Nam and reported for Doooty in case you weren't aware of that).
The point is, he has CMOH recipients supporting him that know him and call him a friend and that speaks to Perry's character.
As for veterans who don't support Perry I refer to the famous reply of WWII Brigadier General Anthony C. McAuliffe upon being asked to respond to the Germans demand that he surrender:
:o)
I support Perry on his merits and deeds.
Sadly our elections are a popularity contest.
I don’t know that he can win on that.
I supported Fred Thompson last go around as I think he was the adult in the room, but he lost to a glad handing communist that handed out free beer and bratwurst
I would not trust any of those SOBs with my back.
Well, that’s what I call progress! LoL
Teaming up with Mitt to destroy Perry didn’t help her so much.
