"The idea this president now, with Iran getting one of our predator drones in their possession, and he had opportunities -- he had two choices. Actually, he had three. He chose the worse. And those two opportunities he had was to either retrieve that drone or to destroy it. And he did the worst of the three. And he did absolutely nothing. It’s a big oversized cargo aircraft, a heavily modified Boeing 377 airliner ... NASA still has at least one in operation. NASA operates a handful of odd aircraft, including U-2 variants.

Would be nice if drones were set up so they would self destruct upon landing unless signaled NOT to by an authorized base station. Might end up losing a few drones by accident that way, but it would make a situation like this impossible.

Perry is often hawkish and compared to the roll over dead dovishness of Obama, virtually anything shines.

He needs to be careful to avoid any move that would bring about demographic suicide of the GOP. Understandably, tea partiers are nervous about this.

This sort of stuff used to be done in California.

But California was overrun by hippies, yippies, nuts, fruits, flakes, goofballs, tree-sitters, bunny-huggers, furries, and other assorted ne'er-do-wells.

Other states have fared well in the wake of California's descent into madness.

Sign on the counter (in English and Espanol) informed me that I should wear a dust mask while operating woodworking tools, because they produce sawdust and sawdust is "known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm".

All I say for sure is that it's a drone but what's in it is now up for grabs. Don't know why AF didn't put in an auto destruct system in case an event like this occurred (breaking it's remote tether and auto landing in hostile territory).
