Rosie O'Donnell, possibly one of the most uninformed people to ever be given a television program, actually ridiculed the intellectual capacity of Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich Thursday.

Appearing with fellow brainiac Joy Behar on the HLN program thankfully in its final shows, O'Donnell called the former Speaker of the House a "joke" saying, "Perhaps he should read a history book"

JOY BEHAR, HOST: Yes, but I mean, what about Newt's plan to drop the child labor laws and put kids to work as janitors?

ROSIE O'DONNELL: Yes.

BEHAR: I mean, where does he come up with this crap?

O'DONNELL: I don't know. They tried that in Australia many years ago with aboriginal children. It didn't turn out too well. Perhaps he should read a history book. I don't know. That guy is a joke.

I guess the intellectually superior O'Donnell didn't know that Gingrich received a B.A. and an M.A. from Emory University in - wait for it! - history, and later received a Ph.D. from Tulane University in - wait for it again! - modern European history eventually becoming a - wait one last time! - history professor at West Georgia College.

The problem here is millions of women, potential voters and critical influencers of the next generation of voters, eat these lies up and repeat them as if gospel truth.

Newt has multiple degrees in history, has written books on history, has taught history at the college level. I think he might know a little more about history than Rosie and Joy combined. These woman are a pestilence on the body politic.

If these idiots listened to what Newt's said, the kinds of things he's proposing kids do for payment are the kinds of things they are conscripted to do now for free, and have been in recent decades, in schools. These same women are happy to exploit child labor in the form of entertainers when it suits their ratings needs but would deny the poorest of the poor children an opportunity to learn the dignity of work for pay.

Instead heads are filled with mush about "giving back" as if their own labor has no value except to pay back some nebulous debt to a greater community.

Newt's proposing nothing like hard labor and child labor exploitation of a century ago. Damn these filthy, vile liars for suggesting otherwise.

Rosie and Joy....NEWSFLASH....my daughter’s elementary school assigned two students from each class to wash down the lunch tables after themselves before the next class came in to use them. I wasn’t happy about it, but that was the case. They were expected to clean up after themselves. It’s not child labor to do some seemingly janitorial chores in a school setting. Should they not empty the classroom wastebaskets and clean the blackboards at the end of the day? Not a thing wrong with that at all. Seems leftist children must all have nannies and maids to pick up after them. Doesn’t happen in real life. I recall having to scrub my own desk to the teacher’s specifications at the end of a school year. Yeah, child labor. We did it and were happy to help. Taught us a lot.
