SAN ANTONIO, Texas, December 8, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) A woman has been fired from a Macys department store for denying a man dressed as a woman access to the womens fitting room.
I had to either comply with Macys or comply with God, said Natalie Johnson, 27, a former employee at the retail giants location in Rivercenter Mall, San Antonio. Natalie Johnson says she was concerned for her female customers, who she thought might be uncomfortable about having a man in their fitting room.
According to Johnson, on November 30th she witnessed a young cross-dressing man wearing make-up and girls clothing exit the womens fitting room. She told the man politely that the womens fitting room was for women only, making it clear that he was not to make use of the room again.
The customer, along with five companions, argued in response that Macys is friendly to the LGBT community.

Johnson retorted that Macys doesnt discriminate against religious beliefs, adding that it would go against her religious beliefs to act on a lie that a man was a woman.
I couldnt lie and say that he was a woman. Im going to be accountable to what I say to my Lord Jesus, said Johnson, a member of Tabernacle of Prayer, to My San Antonio.
Johnson says she believes that she was acting for the good of her female customers who she thought might be uncomfortable about having a man in their fitting room.
The group demanded to see the manager, who, siding with the transgendered person, pointed Johnson to Macys LGBT policy, which allows transgender persons to change in any dressing room of their choice.
The manager gave Johnson an ultimatum: comply with the LGBT policies or lose her job.
Johnson replied that the policy was against her sincerely held religious convictions. She was fired the next day.
I was fired for standing up for what I believe in, she said.
The conservative Christian law firm Liberty Counsel has decided to take Johnsons case.
Macys policy which allows men to use the womens dressing room is fraught with problems, the firm stated in a press release on Monday.
Macys has essentially opened womens dressing rooms to every man. The LGBT agenda has become the theater of the absurd.
Matt Staver, Liberty Counsels founder and chairman, told My San Antonio that his firm is fighting for Johnson to help her reclaim her job and to change Macys policy.
To me, its a liability waiting to happen. Its just a matter of time that a man goes into a female fitting room and watches women undress or, even worse, rapes a woman.
The American Family Association (AFA) is urging people to contact Macys headquarters to express outrage at this injustice to female employees and customers.
Macys has done a great injustice by firing Natalie Johnson, whose first priority is the welfare and safety of Macys customers, reads the lines of a draft e-mail composed by AFA that can be sent directly to Macys president, Terry Lundgren, and other key executives.
AFA says it would like to see Macys apologize to Johnson, to reinstate her position in the company, and to put safeguards in place that will protect all women customers from men who desire to enter their fitting rooms.
Leftists as a whole are antifemale. Use females for sex, but unless they are some sort of sexual curiosity, straight hetero women are useless.
The “free love” movement should have made it abundantly clear to women what lefties regard them as.
And communists don’t have women running the factories either.
Well, shouldn’t Macy’s policy, if they are going to have one regarding trannys, be that a man converted to a “woman” is only allowed in the women’s dressing room?
And vice versa?
Shouldn’t they have to conform to the rules for the “gender” they have decided on?
The policy seems to be that “SHe” can go in either one, which seems like it really means anyone can go in any room if they just claim to be, or appear to be, a tranny.
That is, there’s really no policy.
If Macy’s is going to cater to that “community”, then they should install “transgender” bathrooms and dressing rooms, and the rest of us will know to stay clear...of both those rooms and Macy’s...
I’ve sent an unpleasant email to them (what’s a blue dart?). Women have to stick up for themselves.
I was once - years ago - menaced by a high-as-a-kite crossdresser with long, blood-red fingernails. He tore the face of someone near me (on a bus of all things!) It turned me off these freaks forever.
And you’re right: some women are too sheltered in this country. They need to wake up.
You’d think this kind of thing would make Obama think twice about complaing about the internet destroying jobs. You can shop online wearing crotchless leather leiderhosen with a gerbil up your butt while you screw a sheep and they’re happy to take your order. Those intolerant bigots down at the local brick-and-mortar harwarare store would ask you to leave.
Yes! You’re right! The Left is just one big movement of misogyny.
I’m contacting them to let them know that I will not shop with them any longer. This policy isn’t safe for women. I’m so sick of pink nazi’s putting us all at risk.

Did you note the Commie red stars and symbols throughout?
You can forget THAT question at your shareholders meeting if you're still considering it.
Corporate management and boards of trustees are not interested in "bible-huggin' conservatives" as a whole, but they ARE interested that "women" comprise more than 50% of the population plus the majority of their customers.
Stick to the SAFETY AND PERSONAL COMFORT WHILE SHOPPING FOR WOMENS' CLOTHING issues....and pound hard on this!
Mention the word "conservative" and your question will be dead on arrival in that corporate meeting room...and it will be ignored so smoothly you'll never know it.

Twice, in the past I have had boys that were brought in dressing rooms with their mothers peep at me under the dressing room while I was changing or naked.
Twice.
The boys were approx 6 and 9 and I felt so incredibly violated and there was nothing that could be done about it.
I just started shopping at Macy’s and will stop until this is changed. A man is a man. Period. If the Macy’s CEO can feel comfortable with a gay male with an erection/and or masturbating or even being raped while he is in the same room naked with them, fine. As far as I am concerned, that is not far from what could happen to a vulnerable woman who is naked or changing clothes in a secluded room with a door with a lock. I have worked in a company with transgendered and there is something very wrong with them and I refuse to do business with any company who says they are of more worth than me.
It is going way past acceptable boundaries for me. IMHO of course.
That’s happened to me at airport ladies’ rooms. The stupid mothers don’t know how to manage their kids in public for 5 minutes. If it happens again, yell at the kid. I did it once and he took off like a shot.
Gee whiz, Rhoda. When I did my usual check nothing popped up and besides Freepers must not have had enough time to comment as 50 have been discussing this posting.
Keep up the good work though.
Her mistake was assuming she only had two options.
As an alternative, she should have contacted a supervisor to say, “There is a man dressed like a woman in the women’s dressing room. Should security or the police be notified?”
This would create a predicament for the supervisor, in that if the man commits a sexual act in there, the store could be liable, be it voyeurism or assault. But he has to do *something*, or it’s his neck on the line.
He would probably contact the store manager, making it the manager’s problem. But he would likely think he needs to “sell” the problem to the manager, so he would make the situation sound worse than it actually is.
The store manager would probably assume “crime in progress”, so would contact the police, worrying about liability even if store security got involved.
And police often have a major down on public perversion. So it would be between them and the cross dresser(s).
All in all, the woman employee would be far removed from the issue, instead of being the issue, and everything would be resolved to her satisfaction.
Better yet ask them what will happen if/when a fully male sexual predator claims to be transgendered and dresses as a woman to gian access to the women’s dressing room and then assaults or rapes someone...
