Gingrich is utterly unelectable. But hey. Go ahead and nominate him and we’ll talk in Nov 2012.

Gingrich is utterly unelectable.

Sounds more like that is what you hope rather than any comment rooted in reality.

You again. Chances are you won't be here in November 2012.

Gingrich is utterly unelectable.

Here's my polling and it assigns 1-10 points based on metrics established by the founder of Free Republic.

Value Gingrich Obama
------ --------- -----
Pro-God 10 0
Pro-life 9 0
Pro-gun 8 0
Pro-family 10 0
Pro-constitution 10 0
Pro-Bill of Rights 9 0
Pro-limited gov't 7 0
Pro-limited taxes 10 0
Pro-defense 10 0
Anti-homo agenda 8 0

TOTAL 91 0
This is a lot less biased than the number that Fox plucked out of thin air. By my calculations, Newt wins all 57 states but, admittedly, loses the District of Columbia and is utterly crushed in Berkeley. But in America, it's a clean sweep.
