Something is very odd about this picture. I'm retired AF and I can tell you a little what I know of this plane, first off it has a 48 foot wingspan and if you look at this picture with the soldiers standing by it, it appears that the wingspan is around 24 to 25 feet so something is odd. Also as far as this ACFT is concerned it is not a remote piloted ACFT, it is pre-programed to fly a pattern by itself and after it completes it's route it returns to an Airfield on it's own, in fact the guidance control on this ACFT is late 80’s early 90’s Computer Tech and the material this particular ACFT is made of is really simple stuff, it uses Ceramic and plastic impregnated Fiberglass. In my opinion I think this plane was flown with the expectation that it would be brought down in some way so that it could test Iran’s Air Defenses.
