What did she ask?
This is stupid and pointless. He isn’t going to answer any question he doesn’t want to, or give any emails or memos he doesn’t want to. This is all just wheel spinning to no end. The lying and stifling bastard should just be impeached.
He is worth consideration, as out of the lips by Palin and Mark Levin. The Iowa decision may give him that opportunity.
If he would provide his PRIVATE/PERSONAL emails regarding F & F.
Thanx. Can’t tune in, so relying on FR.
YEP....he is not performing as Attorney General for the US duties...he’s performing only as Attorney for the Obama Administration....
I thought I knew just how stupid Conyers and that lot are but wow, listening to this committee meeting today has made me wonder what the hell their constituents are thinking! Holy cow, these fools can’t even put a correct, comprehensible sentence together!
And the whole complaint of “political grandstanding” is just hilarious. Holder initiated that in his opening statement with his “previous administration” crap.
I need a job as a staffer for one of these committee members. I thought of a hundred questions that haven’t yet been asked and probably won’t be asked.
Sheesh.
Issa up. Just called Brewer and his ‘minions’. Said Holder is in contempt.
“Have you no shame” Holder to Issa...................
OMG!
Issa Tried his best right at the last to nail this AH!
I assume a court would not limit time limits on questions or answers! This type of Krap is just a show!
Thanx.
I like Issa’s work so far. He needs to get some action on this. If OB hangs with the guy, it’s a campaign issue.
Here’s the key:
At the start: “Issa asked Chairman Smith if Holder could be required to stand to be put under oath. Smith declined, saying that Holder was presumptively already under oath.”
Much later: “Rep. Dennis Ross (R-FL) is up and started by asking Holder if the AG considers himself to be ‘under oath.’ Holder is agitated with the question and says he is ‘here to tell the truth.’”
He isn’t.
I’ll assume Issa is noticing this subtle, key point - and will make skillful use thereof.
Update at 4:01pm EST: Issa asks Holder to turn over emails between Breuer and Weinstein from March of 2011. Holder says he will not. Issa then tells Holder the AG is standing in contempt of Congress if he does not turn over those emails. Asst Attorney General Ronald Weich is grinning over Holder’s shoulder. Parting shot from Issa involved a comparison between Holder and John Mitchell, Nixon’s Attorney General who was found guilty of obstruction of justice and perjury.
Saw and understood the oath question. Holder was allowed to lie!
question is, who is responsible for administering that perp walk ??? does such an officer currently exist ???
seriously hope Issa has everything he needs to bury these pr!cks when the time comes, and that nothing derails it in the meantime...
Good, Santorum should be considered.
Yeah I heard that. I was cheering while swallowing Advil for the headache I gave myself while banging my head against the wall.
I can listen to these meetings only occasionally. Each time I endure one I despair for the future of our nation.
