Donald isn’t worth anyone’s time, but I’m sure he’ll be appeased.
Trump has said that if none of the candidates impress him, he would run. So he wants the candidates to try to convince him not to run? I’m not sure why Sarah would condone this.
That said, me personally, I liked the set up with the AG's at the other debate/forum, and would like to see something similar.
How about one with Palin, DeMint, McConnell (he is the senate republican leader), Bohner (since he is the speaker), Tom Tancredo and some other republicans (preferably of the conservative tea party stripe).....Ask the candidate questions, give them time to answer, do back and forth exchanges, almost like a senate hearing for each of them, and let them interact with each other.
Granted, its unconventional and unorthodox, but its something that would bring out the best or worst and separate the bs from the gold.
What part about Obama, Pelosi, and Reid did Donald Trump not get just 1 year ago when Trump supported Harry Reid?
Someone should put the Reid support question to Trump and makes him answer for being politically bipolar?
Trump, not a Republican, still may be bitter he didnt get a President Hillary Clinton in 2008, that also explains being politically bipolar and not knowing the difference between Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.
I love Sarah for her love of the Republic, her strength under adversity but she is wrong on this debate show.
It won’t be long before the motives of the ‘Donald’ becomes clear and, I hope, when that happens she finds the time to rethink her position.
Sounds like a fun TV event.
After raising hell with the “birther” issue, Trump has shown a knack for throwing stones. Good for him and good for the nation. We need a LOT MORE stirring of the pot.
In fact, I’m disappointed that none of the GOP candidates have engaged in any yelling or angry rhetoric. After the Tea Party showing in 2010, I expected some real fire-and-brimstone speechifying and election promises this time around. But so far, nothing but the same-old, business-as-usual crap from the candidates. We need a champion! We need drastic change!
I just wonder what questions will be asked. Trump could unleash a few doozies, IMHO.
I say we will see what kind of clout she has by whether or not anyone who has so far declines changes his mind.
I guess her endorsement of the event really didn’t mean much...at least not to Perry, Bachman, Huntsman or Paul...
I guess the ones who are the most upset are the ones who want to keep the primary boring.
Trump sure has pale eyelids. Either he puts sunblock on them without getting any of it in his eyes or he wears goggles while he’s in the tanning bed. He hides his bald spots better than our current VP does, though. As for his politics, he might be able to pose as a conservative more effectively than many if not most GOP incumbents, but that doesn’t qualify him for anything. It just illustrates how deep the rut is that the GOP is stuck in. The GOP’s problem is that it is trying to endear itself to people who think the Donald Trumps of the world are serious candidates instead of engaged voters who are desperately searching for a credible reform candidate and not just another Obama. Donald Trump is a guy who makes (and loses) lots of money through various forms of self-promotion and gimmickry. That’s it. The MSM wants conservatives to be abandoned by the GOP for 24/7 reality TV, and this is playing into their hands.
Whatever one might think of Trump, his concern is getting a pro-American president, and restoring the American economy. Romney, Huntsman, and Perry DO NOT want this exposure.
