Sarah Palin is urging Republican presidential candidates to take part in the Newsmax ION Television 2012 Presidential Debate moderated by Donald Trump.
The former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate made her endorsement in an interview to air Wednesday night on the Fox Business Network. Palins endorsement is the latest high-profile conservative to support the debate set for Dec. 27.
"I think candidates should not be afraid in front of the nation no matter who the host of the debate is, Palin said. What is a bit appealing about this idea of Trump hosting a debate is, consider the diverse audience that perhaps he can attract. It's important that independents and those who are not obsessed with inside-baseball partisan politics, which is most of us, we'd like to hear more of the message of each one of these candidates and perhaps Donald Trump will be able to attract a diverse demographic that maybe has not been as interested in this horse race thus far.
"America needs to wake up to what is going on under Obama's socialist policies and how he will bankrupt the country. I'm looking at the debate as a positive thing because of that fact."(continued)

Obviously, something happened.
Attack libs not people like Palin who (for example today on fox) skewer Obama. We need people like her, you and I can type but she talks to millions.
Sorry, I couldn’t get past your first incoherent “sentence”. Try again...
I say Palin is turning into a dumb bulb or is trying to shove all 2012 candidates under the Trump bus to preserve her chances for 2016.
If we ever have a revolution you’ll be the one talking about grammar, what a putz you are!
>> Obviously, something happened.
Too soon to say. Staying quiet after the disappointing announcement is not necessarily a sign of adversity. Could be a matter of deference for the candidates.
I rather doubt that much of what she does is influenced by money or ego. If that was the case, she’d have run for president even knowing the presstitutes were lying in wait for her & her family. She has had 24/7 attacks from academia, Hollywood, the nutroots, the media, RINOs, Team Obama, the DNC, Cable TV, etc. since 2008. They burned her church down with people inside of it! Unless we’ve gone through something like that, we have no idea the pressure it causes. People here who said she led them on weren’t going to pay for a platoon of expensive bodyguards. I’ve worked as a bodyguard, bouncer and guard and know how expensive it can be. Just a ho-hum bodyguard costs $50/hr.
Another idiot, you.
Sorry...but I don’t understand the picture. Little Orphan Annie, maybe? Nevertheless, have a good night since I’ll be turning in soon.
So true...well, actually I do care what you have to say, but Stormer, the latest Palin hater, ot so much.
And ACU has endorsed it, and Ralph Reed, "Faith and Freedom" has endorsed it - et al.
I imagine Romney is not going to because his handlers, the Establishment Republicans of the Washington Ivy League Elitist Club are afraid of a debate they can't control.
This is shaping up to be what may be the most watched debate of the campaign.
Newt's debate with Cain - all others declined - was very well received by the public - and shot both of them to the top.
Newt is end-runing the debate formula of the candidates lined up like little school kids in a spelling bee being grilled by the enemy media, the libRats and the Establishment Republicans. They have thus controlled the outcome to push their chosen candidate to the top - for decades.
the "Trump Debate" is scaring the bejeebers out of them.
I'm taking out stock in popcorn.
Mark you calendars. 27 Dec, NewsMax.
and I am gleefully looking forward to the debate cycle in the general election...with Newt and obama. He's changing that formula too - to the Lincoln-Douglas style. I suspicion it's already causing certain people sleepless nights.
I am sorry that Palin broke your heart by refusing to run this cycle.
Yup, just anoter idiot. Thanks for the proof!
