Former MF Global CEO Jon Corzine will not answer questions from a congressional committee seeking to get to the bottom of the brokerage firm’s collapse, The Post has learned.

Corzine, who has been subpoenaed to testify before the House Agriculture Committee tomorrow, is expected to plead the Fifth Amendment in response to most hard-hitting questions, sources said.

That means the one person who may know the whereabouts of the $1.2 billion in missing customer cash will not be giving up much.

One source close the committee said while he might provide a limited statement, Corzine — the former New Jersey Governor and CEO of Goldman Sachs — was not expected to “say anything of substance” during the hearing.

What’s amazing is that Snooki and The Situation put this crook in the senate. What’s not amazing at all is that the OWS parasites will not be protesting his mansion.

OK, I'll admit to not having followed this story very closely, but why the Agriculture Committee?

Congress has options. They could offer him some sort of limited immunity. But after Oliver North that’s pretty unlikely.

So they’ll huff and puff and start another investigation.

Just guessing - maybe it's because the $1.2 billion is a lot of "lettuce"...

(or "cabbage", or "green stuff")

“So if he pleads the fifth what next?”

He walks away. He is too big to convict.

Not obvious indeed. They’re legislatively in charge of commodity trading which was originally set up for cotton, wheat, etc.

“What’s amazing is that Snooki and The Situation put this crook in the senate”

Those two are too young to wield that much power. It’s the teachers and trade union’s who are the unequivocal butt boys of the DNC.

Please don’t give the gaviones(sp?)all the credit... :)

Average folks who lost the most when MFer Global went down were farmers, and related businesses, like agricultural equipment, etc.

Some farmers are unable to buy the seeds they want for next spring, because their money is all tied up. Tjhey get a discount for ordering early, and get the best varieties for their soil and climate by buying early.

Without their cash, they can’t buy. Ditto for replacing farm equipment, etc.

Here is a recent interview with Ann Barnhardt. It will explain all you need to know about the mess MFer Global has created.

If the MSM covers the hearing..they will not explain his party affliation or his history with Obama. They will make out that he is an unfortunate casualty of the European financial crisis.
