Wait a second.....I hate Progressivism but Teddy was NO zero cuz really loved America and the Natural Family and Individualism. Yes, he was misinformed by the “elites” who infiltrated the Universities at the time, but since this ideology of the Progressives wasn’t practiced in full-force in America, it was hard for Teddy to know the results of this Progressivism and comprehend its real impact.
After all, many great people were fooled and realized their folly later (it is the Marxist twisting of words—even the meaning of the word “progressive” which has such great connotations). Marxist ideology is all about controlling language—so to deceive and fool. Marxism twists reality and inserts lies and half-truths so many great people—even those highly intelligent ones like Teddy—can and will be misled.
Even the Progressive John Dewey—the Fabian socialist lived to regret some of what he had done to the American school system. The results of ideology can be easily obscured for a while but if Teddy would have lived long enough, I think he would have reassessed his thinking and direction.
Some ideas sounded good—especially before they were put into practice. Progressive thinking was an intentional disguise of Marxist/Atheist ideology and many didn’t realize it at the time because of the name.
