Jon Huntsman would do better in an election against President Obama than Rick Perry would.
Thats the latest news from a Rasmussen poll released today and taken over Dec. 4-5, which shows Obama earning 46 percent support among Republicans nationwide to Perrys 34 percent. Thats the first Rasmussen matchup that gives the president a double-digit lead over Perry. In November, Obamas lead was nine pointsbut before the GOP debates, Perry held a three-point advantage over the president, with 44 percent support to Obamas 41 percent.

Jon Huntsman is better than Newt on “securing the border.”

Jon Huntsman? Is he still in the race?
What do Buddy Romer and Fred Karger’s numbers look like? LOL
“Jon Huntsman? Is he still in the race?”
He apparently is hanging in there stronger than Rick Perry.
Perry should should bail out this, and retire on his fat government pension.
Sixty-four percent (64%) of conservatives like Perry, but 57% of moderates and 81% of liberals favor the president.
Perry leads Obama among voters who have served in the military, 42% to 33%.
This vet don’t support Perry, and none of the others I know do.
Perry would make a good president, I really wish he had great debate skills.
Maybe he will get picked for VP.
He got a lot of grief over his immigration stand. But the immigration problem has no simple answer, we all share blame for the mess. We allowed liberals to get elected to high office and that is the root of the problem.
I say anyone but MittWitt or Ron Paul.
I don't think Californians, in general, vets or otherwise are that keen on Perry. Almost 70,000 Californians moved to Texas in the past two years, despite the fact Perry is on his third term as Governor..
Please enlighten your fellow Californians who may be headed this way as to who our Governor is, and maybe they will stay there.
High- five! ;-)

Speak for yourself. This is NOT my mess.
Easy answer. Enforce laws on the books.
Get back to me in two years.
sadly, I have all but wrote off the top of the ticket. I am going to work on the races down ticket.
Thanx, I should be asleep. It's 22 degrees in the Heart of the Hill Country..Hope it's warmer down your way.
Perry, Paul, Romney, and Huntsman are my bottom four. Of my bottom four, I like Huntsman the least. I like Perry the most of the ones I like least; he’s at the top of my bottom.
But he’s ‘abysmal’ on amnesty and legalization.
“’Perry would make a good president, I really wish he had great debate skills.”
Agree. Little I really don’t like about Perry, but if you can’t debate, and articulate clearly what you stand for and why, there’s pretty much no way you can win this type contest.
How 'bout a high four? Our ornithorhynchus anatinus pal Perry the P seems to lack a digit in this actual photograph:
Huntsman really isn’t that different from Newt on amnesty. Newt isn’t much different from McCain and Obama on immigration.
LOL - I love Agent P!
